Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015)

Shaun the Sheep Movie is a fast-paced, family-friendly animated caper that follows mischievous Shaun and his flock when a simple plan for a day off spirals into a full-blown rescue mission in the Big City. After a mix-up involving the Farmer, a caravan and a steep hill, the Farmer ends up in the city with amnesia while Shaun, Bitzer the sheepdog and the flock must track him down. Their attempt to bring him home is complicated by the relentless animal-control officer Trumper and a series of inventive, slapstick obstacles that force Shaun and the animals to improvise clever, wordless solutions. Watching the film you’ll experience visual comedy and clever sight gags at every turn, tense and funny set-pieces, and unexpectedly touching moments of loyalty and friendship — all told almost entirely without dialogue. The animation is expressive and detailed, the pacing brisk, and the humor appeals to kids and adults alike. Expect lots of physical comedy, inventive problem-solving, and a warm, satisfying finish as Shaun fights to restore the farmer’s memory and get everyone back to the green grass of home.
