Shrek 2 picks up right after the original: newlyweds Shrek and Fiona return from their honeymoon and travel to the Kingdom of Far, Far Away to meet Fiona’s parents. Old rivalries and hidden agendas surface as the calculating Fairy Godmother and her son, Prince Charming, conspire to break the couple apart—hiring the swashbuckling Puss in Boots and scheming against Shrek at every turn. Donkey provides nonstop comic relief and heart as he stands by Shrek, while Fiona’s loyalties and the couple’s relationship are tested.
