Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Spider-Man: Homecoming follows teenage Peter Parker as he tries to juggle ordinary high-school life in Queens with his thrilling — and increasingly complicated — role as Spider-Man. Fresh from a taste of Avengers-level action, Peter is eager to prove he belongs with the big-league heroes while answering to the watchful (and sometimes scolding) mentorship of Tony Stark. When a blue-collar salvage operator, Adrian Toomes — the Vulture — begins selling dangerous alien-derived weaponry, Peter must step up to stop a new menace that threatens the city and everything he cares about. Watching the film, you’ll get a lively mix of high-flying action and grounded, coming-of-age moments: fast, inventive web-slinging set pieces across New York’s skyline, tense but character-driven confrontations, and plenty of humor and awkward teen drama. The movie balances spectacle with heart — upbeat, witty dialogue and relatable school-and-family scenes (Aunt May, friends, exams, crushes) make the stakes feel personal even amid the blockbuster fights. The Vulture brings a grittier, believable antagonist with a clear motive, so the conflict feels emotional as well as physical. Overall, the experience is energetic, charming, and fun — a lighter, more youthful MCU entry that mixes superhero thrills with the pains and pleasures of adolescence, delivering both edge-of-your-seat action and sincere character moments.
