Love, Death & Robots (2019)

Love, Death & Robots

Love, Death & Robots is an Emmy-winning animated anthology that delivers a fast, bold collision of genres — science fiction, fantasy, horror, comedy and more — in a series of short, self-contained films. Conceived by Tim Miller with David Fincher as executive producer and produced by Blur Studio, the 2019 launch season presents eighteen visually daring shorts made by a global roster of directors and animation houses, each pushing style, technique and storytelling boundaries. As a viewer you’ll experience a sensory and tonal roller-coaster: spectacular, often hyper-real animation; abrupt shifts from dark, violent or unsettling tales to sharp, absurdist humor; and compact narratives that can be clever, shocking, poignant or thought‑provoking in just minutes. Episodes vary widely in mood and runtime, so the show works as a binge of short, intense bursts or as quick, standalone viewings. Be prepared for mature themes and graphic imagery — the series is designed to shock, surprise and expand what animated storytelling can do.
